Dr. Md. Lokman Hossain, Professor of Zoology, belongs to BCS (General Education) Cadre (10^th Batch). He completed his graduation and post graduation degree in Zoology from the University of Dhaka. He has been rendering his services at NAEM as Director (Training & Implementation). He did his doctoral and post doctoral degrees on environmental science. He also did B. Ed. and M. Ed. degrees as per the requirement of professional development. He has a substantial number (97) of research articles published at home and abroad in different referred Journals, 63 popular articles published in different dailies on educational issues. He also authored a number of books (13)  to his credit. He is also an author of popular articles emphasized on education reforms. Dr. Hossain was Consultant, Chief Scientific Investigator, Researcher of UNDP, ADB, WB, MOST, BFD, PMBP etc. He attended several national and international workshops, seminars and training programs. He visited India, Thailand, Sweden, Ruanda, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Hongkong, Turkey and China on Educational Management, Computer Applications, Use of Electronic Media, ICT and other issues. He is a life member of some Professional Organizations like Asiatic Society, Zoological Society, Bird & Wildlife Preservation Society, Bangla Academy, NOAMI, IUCN, BNBG, SSC, BAPA, BAAS, etc.
